wearing a cocktail dress to prom?
i wanted to wear my cocktail dress to prom. would i be too informal and stick out? the heels i have are the kind that have a satin ribbon to wrap up the leg & a 6 inch heel, so its not like i'd be totally informal. i feel like its not good enough only because it reaches my knee rather than touching to the floor like everyone else's.

I think that would be fine. I think if you curl your hair or something like that it might help you look even more formal but I'm sure there will be other girls with dresses that don't touch the floor so you won't be the "odd one out."
