I have a fortnight to make a prom dress and I've never made any clothing before!?
I have bought a long white sleevless dress and I want to make it shorter, into a halterneck dress and add netting. I know this sounds strange but once I have an idea I can't stop until it's done. I have a fortnight before I want to wear it. Any tips? (I've never done dressmaking before).
If you don't have experience, I hope you have someone WITH experience who can help you. Especially if you are sewing on a knit, it be very, very, very tricky.
Personally, I'd return the dress and buy one, and I know how to sew!
