Should I change out of my Wedding Dress for the reception?
I've really been wondering what I should do here. I see so many Brides that change out of their dresses into a white party dress for the reception. I'm just wondering what any of you have done or have seen being done. My dress is a very formal dress. It has those very tight built in corsets. Everyone is telling me I should change, but I look at it this way.... I only plan on getting married once. My Mom spent well over $1000 on my dress, so I feel I should wear it as long as possible to get some of my money's worth! This is a link to a picture of my dress. It has a cathedral length train on it, but we're going to have it busseled for the reception.

Should I get another dress just to be more comfortable or should I wear the dress all night? I think I should wear it all night, but all my friends are telling me otherwise! Opinions please!
definitely!!! beautiful dress! bustle that gorgeous thing up and have a blast! maybe not wear a veil to the reception but I would wear it. I had a moire taffeta and velvet dress that was really long too. winter wedding. the only thing I wish i hadn't done was wear my heels all night. killer on my feet. maybe get some ballet slippers to wear so you can dance but the only way i would get outta that dress was if my husband took it off me! lol congrats and have fun!
