Is it really that hard to plan a wedding?
I love to watch shows like Who's Wedding Is It Anyway?, Bridezillas, and My Fair Wedding with David Tutera. I have noticed from watching these show, it seems that planning a wedding is hard and stressful. it also does not help that because no one in my family or friends has had an event like a "real" wedding (other then a back yard wedding causal with jeans and court house wedding) that i have never seen or been around someone planing a wedding.
Is it really that hard to plan a wedding?
I don't think that it is hard, but it is very detailed and time consuming. It is and can be really fun to do, but if you aren't an organized person or you don't have organized people around you it can be a B****.
I think that a wedding is about what the couple wants and can afford... and while there are so many DOs and DONTs, inevitably, the marrying couple can do what they choose.
Don't feel pressured or "less than human" if you don't do all that David Tutera says.... That is why people go broke and can become divorced. Over-consumption with keeping up with the Jones's.
Make this the best party that you will ever have. And the best short church service.
