What do you guys think about red high heel shoes with my off white, long wedding dress.?
My dress is in the cathedral style, strapless but fairly traditional looking. i saw some red shoes that are just stunning. What do you guys think a bit of a statement or just silly?? All opinions appreciated!!!
I'd totally wear them. In part because I AM totally wearing them. Not your exact shoes, I'm sure, but I'm wearing red high heels with an off-white dress.
I don't know what the deal is with people saying that you should "save them for the honeymoon." On my honeymoon I plan to be alternately barefoot and relaxing or in sneakers or comfy sandals for sightseeing. Red heels aren't what I plan to be wearing on my honeymoon. I think they're thinking that red means "fun" and that you shouldn't have fun on your wedding day. That's ridiculous.
Honestly, I don't even think of my shoes as making a statement OR being silly or even being fun! I think they go great with my dress and I don't really think I'd ever wear white shoes again, but I may very well wear red shoes again. I think of them as being a practical choice.
If people intend to call me names because I wear red shoes, I'm not entirely sure why they're at my wedding.
