Would wearing this specific white dress to my cousin's wedding be improper wedding etiquette?
I'm Hindu and this is my first Christian wedding. I really like this dress and found that it fits extremely well. I'm 5 feet, 87 pounds, and very petite so finding dresses that flatter my shape is very hard. I did some research and online and i found that any sort of dress that is similar or competing with the bride should be avoided. I feel that the length of this dress sets it apart, and so does the style. Would i be doing a lot of damage if I choose to wear this? I think it's so beautiful but I have no idea where i would wear it if not to this wedding. All opinions welcome! =D

Here are all the reasons why it is wrong:
1. It is white. The bride will more than likely be wearing white, so stay away from that color.
2. It is ridiculously short. You are short too, but I'm sure it will still look like you are going clubbing instead of going to a wedding.
3. It is strapless. You said you are going to a Christian wedding so more than likely it will be in a church. Cover those shoulders up.
There is nothing right about that dress for a wedding, you should keep looking. Make sure to look for something NOT white, not too distracting, and more modest. You obviously love the dress, so buy it! Just don't wear it to a wedding. Good luck!
