Is there such thing as "FAKE" canon cameras?
ok so i found the Canon 5D mark II DSLR for a REALLY good price online. (not ebay, its one of those local sites for buying and selling)
So the price is $500, brand new, comes with lense and everything. I dunno if it is too good to be true, but it's a sweet deal. He says he can ship it throught ebay protection shipping (whatever it's called) and ebay will inspect the package then send it to me and if i am happy with the product he get the money, if i tell ebay i don't like it, i get my money back. Sounds good to me? I asked him how he got it and he said it was a gift from his girlfriend. Don't know if this guy is ligit.
Should i go for it and buy it? He'll pay for shipping and evrything. His username email thing had "powerseller" in it. Does that mean anything significant?
It's a scam. There is no such thing as "ebay protection". If you send any money, you will never see it again (or a camera).
