Gown Size
Saturday, December 25th, 2010What size gown should I look for? ?
I have heard you don't wear the same size in street clothes as you would in a wedding gown. My street size is 0-2, so what size gown would you think I would fit?
I have found a gown online but I'm afraid to purchase due to the sizing concern.

Btw I went to 4 gown shops earlier this week and couldn't find one that came close to fitting. Every place I went to had one dress in every style and they were all huge on me.
When I started shopping for dresses I was around a size 4 & was shocked that I had to get a size 8. Unfortunately I gained some weight before the wedding & had to go up to a size 10. Not a good feeling LOL! In my experience, you need to go up 2 sizes. So you might be a 4, maybe a 6 at the most. Those dresses are huge on you because they usually have 8's or 10's. Your size is just not popular enough to carry as samples. Not many people would even be able to get into a 4 or a 6 for that matter.
