Hey guys,
Im about to finish my personal statement, but theres one thing that I wrote that I feel is unnecessary.
I wrote about the theory of "compensation" that was devised by Alfred Adler, a renowned psychologist. The reason I wrote about it was because I was previously a shy Introvert, but now Im extremely confident about what I do and where Im going in my life. Plus, Im really sociable and well-liked!
So, I just thought that it applies to me!
Do you think they might take it that Im being arrogant??
Or is it a really individualistic way of expressing myself?

No, it's not arrogant to give yourself SOME credit but just try not taking all the credit for everything which some people do.
It could be an individualistic way of expressing yourself but you have to ask yourself is it bragging (analyzing how often you do it) or is it individualistic asserting individuality by independence of thoughts and actions. Knowing yourself you can decide with confident. You still seems to be an introvert with what you are saying but just not so shy. You will find that a lot of happiness comes with being a bit extrovert. Try thing a little outside yourself. You sounds very bright and I can tell that you have been taking some psychology classes. Keep up the good work!
Also do a paper about yourself, write about who you are on one sheet.
On another write about who you was.
On another sheet of paper write about who and what you want to be and why. This will help you with idenifying yourself. Think outside of the box 
and remember never prejudge others or put them down. We never know what's going on with them and everybody is different in their own ways. Good bad or indifferent. good luck!
