Where does the Qur’an specifically say that the veil is necessary?
Please do not take this to be disrespectful this question is not meant be offensive in any way. I would like to know where it is specifically mentioned that the full veil must be worn by women. The verse commonly cited tells women to draw their veils over their bosoms, but at the time, the women were already wearing veils. So Muhammad would have been telling them to cover their bosoms; the reference to the veil would not mean much of anything, since it was a cultural norm. Where does the Qur’an specifically say that the veil is necessary outside of cultural obligations and customs?

There was an additional instruction / suggestion in view of Notorious elements who were teasing Muslim women to the limits of persecution. This verse is 33:59. Don't forget to read the context of this verse i.e. verses that precede and FOLLOW this verse (to confirm).
The Muslims do NOT follow the law of God. They have many other gods. Most of them are scholars. And they tell them that this verse was interpreted by one of the relatives of the prophet, to mean as viel.
It is interesting to note that this particular relative is reported to be only 6 years old at the time of death of prophet Mohammad. Also they are get very disturbed by some other Hadiths that this same relative quotes. But those are brushed under the carpet.
