Wedding dress replica?

I am getting married in April and went to try on some wedding dresses the other day. I fell in love with a alfred angelo wedding dress style 2102. However in the shop it was £925. I simply do not have this sort of money for a wedding dress, My budget is not a penny over £350. So my thoughts were to find someone to make a replica of the dress for me. I have found different websites offering to do this which would cost me between £160 and £250 but I am a bit undecided to go for it. The only places I have found are over the sea in China. Has anyone any thoughts on this for me? Had a dress replica made for them? Any things to watch out for or even if you could recommend someone to make the dress for me?

It is absoultely NOT true that the replicas and the designer dresses are the same, only with a different label. Having compared several side by side, I can assure you that they are not. The replicas are cheap because they use cheap fabrics, cheap embellishments, and they are very poorly made. They literally copy **pictures** of gowns. They don't have "the dress" there to inspect.
If you absolutely must have this gown, try to find it from an authorized AA retailer at a discount, or find one secondhand. Wedding dresses are worn for such a short amount of time. There's nothing wrong with buying one that someone else wore for a few hours.
