What does the Hadean Earth and the Saturnian moon Enceladus have in common that prevents formation of life?
Many,many hundreds of millions of years ago, way back in the early Hadean eon, Earth was the same size as the Saturian moon Enceladus. When Earth was still forming into a planet, from a planetesimal, it must have had some interesting geo-physical similarities to Enceladus today!
Now thanks to recent Cassini photographic evidence, what newly discovered geo-chemical processes on Enceladus, must have also been going on in the early Hadean Earth? Natural geo-chemical processes that would have also made abiogenesis of life impossible, and PROVE once and for all time, beyond any scientific (reasonable)doubt, that life CAN NOT evolve from non life, especially in such an environment, which were very common when the planetary nebula evolved into the early Solar System planets and moons?!!!
OK, I give up. I don't know what "newly discovered geo-chemical processes on Enceladus" prevent life from developing there.
But I don't accept your idea that the early Earth must have been like Enceladus is today. For starters, I would guess that the Earth has probably always been warmer. And so, I don't really accept your assertion that Enceladus provides proof that life cannot have arisen spontaneously on the early Earth.
In fact, since life does seem to have arisen on Earth, I might hold that there is strong data indicating that your hypothesis, that it was impossible for life to arise on Earth, is wrong.
And, I might add, as far as I know there is no proof that there is no life on Enceladus. It might be very, very unlikely, but unless we visit with a sophisticated probe, how can we be sure that the entire place is utterly sterile?
