Sunday, January 16th, 2011I want to mount a sconce over my dining room table?
My table is pushed against the wall and I wan to put wall-mounted lighting on that wall. Does anyone know what kind of sconce I should use. Has anyone every seen this before. I've seen it in restaurants in booths and it seemed so charming. I need lighting over the table because this is a multi-purpose room and the ceiling fance does not put out the intimate lighting that i'm looking for. Thanks.
There are tons of sconces out there. Normally the dining room sconces match the ceiling fixture. You can buy sconces which are controlled from a wall switch( you will need an electrician), or you can buy candle sconces. Go to a lighting store and they will give you a stack of books for you to look through.
