I tried on this dress and fell in love with it. Alfred Angelo style #1708. Ivory with black trim...not the green as shown on the web site. One of my maids says it is too much dress. I disagree and want to continue and order it. The back will be bustled after the ceremony anyway. I am a bigger girl...wear a size 12 (that will be a 16 in a wedding gown) and they have this dress also shown in a plus size that I think really looks good on the plus sized girl as well, that is style # 1708W on the web site, you can search it (bottom right) to see what I am talking about. Any opinions would be great. The wedding will be ivory and black in the evening if that helps at all. I think that ivory and black is elegant with small hints of color here and there. THanks.

I really like it. When I did the search on the plus size dress, it has a nice clean look to the front and then ba boom, the back is fantastic. Especially in black. I think the darker color would be stunning. The style would do well on your size..not that you are big...a 12 is average, especially when you are over 30 like me, ahhaha. I also think black and white (ivory) weddings are elegant. Plus you can always find things in your colors! Good luck.
