This may sound a bit wierd, but my periods are so light that I don't bother purchasing tampons or pads anymore (btw they're not exactly cheap, although that's not the issue). I just roll my charmin into a little ball, pop it in and go. I pop it out after six hours, and pop the next one in.. it's so simple. Tampons look ridiculously stupid and gimmicky to me now that i'm on the tissue.

I know toilette paper is sanitized just like tampons are. You are wiping your 'mucous membranes' with it afterall. The thing is, are there any health hazards associated with sopping up blood with a tissue as a opposed to a 'tampon'??
